Originally crafted by Otomí artisans in Mexico, this style of embroidery is now created by many skilled artisans, each piece features vibrant hand-stitched animals and flowers. The piece is embroidered using a "blind stitch" technique. The stitches are completely hidden on the front of the fabric and almost completely hidden on the inside of the fabric.
